About this event

IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild™ is an outdoor concert series where America’s most stunning landscapes replace the traditional concert hall. Explore the full 2024 series.

About this location

Join IN A LANDSCAPE for our first concert on the shores of Lake Tahoe at Sugar Pine Point State Park in Tahoma, California where a portion of ticket sales will benefit the Sierra State Parks Foundation. Concert check-in opens at 3 pm, and the performance begins at 4 pm.

Sugar Pine Point State Park was the summer home for generations of the Washoe Tribe or Washeshu Itdeh, “The people from here.” From the Washoe language comes the name “Tahoe” which is a mispronunciation of “Da ow,” the Washoe word for “lake.”
